What ever happened to predictability?
October 18th 2010, Kentucky Fried Chicken released something called the Double Down.
It came with a lot of hype and prompted a whole slew of hipsters to eat one and post the pics to Twitter, ironically, of course.
The double down however, seemed to flop.
The bigwigs at KFC aren't dumb, and they didn't take this as a defeat. For nearly three whole months they sat around the big drumstick shaped boardroom table and tried to come up with the new 'doubledown'.
The exclusive release party is next Wednesday June 29 2011 at 9:00 pm at the KFC on Wellington in the West End.
The Colonel himself gave Street Treasure the exclusive sneak preview of the new delicacy.
Hold on to your fedoras and lenseless glasses, this one is going to hit hard.
